The next week I thought I'd take some cupcakes to school for my friends. They were a hit. I never knew I had so many friends. When I was leaving to go home some people asked if I could make some that night for the next day. They said they would be willing to pay and thought others would too… It all started from there.
We have been based in St Albans since 2008 and deliver cupcakes all over Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties. We use only the finest ingredients including pure Madagascan vanilla, creamy churned butter, organic cocoa powder and every single egg that goes into our cupcakes come from free range chickens. Each cupcake is baked fresh to order to ensure you get the best taste and they stay deliciously moist for as long as possible. Whether for a wedding, party, special occasion or just an unexpected craving, we can create the cupcake to suit.
Early one year I decided that I wanted to bake a cake on a Wednesday afternoon. I mixed up the batter and needed the cake tins to put it in. We had recently moved so not everything was in the place you would expect. I searched everywhere, asked everyone, and the tins were no where in sight. I guess that's what happens when you move house. (Although, I reckon my dad threw them away, thinking no one ever used them! He has a habit of doing stuff like that, I'm pretty sure they didn't magically fall out the moving boxes...)
Anyway, now I was stuck with the batter and nothing to put it in. I did one last check of the cupboard, just in case the other three times I had missed something, I stared blankly for a while then noticed our cupcake tins. I thought I'd give it a go seen I hadn't got anything else to bake in (Dad...!!). They came out perfect.
